2006 OPEN WEEKEND

Buckingham Flying Field, Coalfields Hwy Collie, Saturday & Sunday May 26th & 27th 2007

Getting There

From Bunbury/Perth, continue STRAIGHT THROUGH COLLIE on the Coalfields Highway, Past 2 minesites at Shotts. After 16km, you will pass over the Collie River Bridge and then turn RIGHT at the Collie Aero Modellers Sign. Continue down that road approx. 500m to the flying field on the right.

Food and Drink

Cool Drink and water will be on sale all weekend. The BBQ is available to use all weekend and visitors can BYO, a wood fire will also be available for cooking.

Camping

Camping sites are available on the field. Toilets are available for the use of all visitors over the weekend.

 

Flying and Spectating Visitors most Welcome

 

Busy Bees and Working Days

To improve the facilities for all members, the club holds Busy Bees, and members regularly attend the field to work to improve the site.
